Heven AeroTech, a developer of hydrogen-powered unmanned aerial systems, has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to $1 billion. The round was led by IonQ with participation from returning investors, including Texas Venture Partners.
The company said the funds will support the expansion of U.S. manufacturing capacity, development of hydrogen fueling and logistics infrastructure, and research into advanced propulsion and autonomous systems. Heven AeroTech’s systems are designed for long-endurance flight and are intended for defense, public safety, and commercial applications.
Heven AeroTech said it is experiencing growing demand from defense and allied customers and that the new capital will allow it to meet this demand while continuing to develop its technology. The company said it plans to hire additional staff and increase production to support future growth.
The Series B funding marks a major milestone for Heven AeroTech, which is positioning itself as a leading provider of hydrogen-powered aerial systems capable of extended flight durations.
